About NJGT

The Northern Junior Golf Tour is designed to give young golfers aged 6-14 years old an opportunity to play in a series of 9 hole events across different courses.

Players can participate in our events with and without an official handicap as they play within their designated age/ability category. Each player will compete for Order of Merit points which culminates in a Grand Final to crown the County winners.

I have played golf since I was 11 years old and went on to play nationally and internationally as an amateur. By the age of 21 I had swopped to professional status and went on to gain my PGA degree. Coaching within the North of England and Scotland has and still is, hugely rewarding. Having the honour to introduce this wonderful game to a fresh new faces is the best part. Now in my England Golf role I can continue to support clubs and facilities, especially in creating a safe environment for all to enjoy the game we love.
Ally Hartshorne

Ally Hartshorne

East Yorkshire Coordinator
I have played golf for 26 years and met some amazing people from all over the world doing so. After my own journey as a junior I've always been around junior golf trying to give back to the game as people did for me. Seeing juniors progress from total beginners to proper golfers, making memories and friendships along the way. I'm very excited to be a part of the NJGT team in its first year in the East Riding area and look forward to seeing you all at the events.
