The PING Junior Golf Tour (PJGT) was established in 2024 following a long-standing relationship with the Northern Junior Golf Tour, which has been the leading Junior Golf Tour in the North of England since 2009.
We pride ourselves on delivering high quality, professional events for junior golfers aged 6-21 years old, at some fantastic venues across the UK. Our aim is provide an unrivalled experience where players can compete, make new friends, and create memories that last a lifetime.
The Rookies Tour is our 9-Hole Order of Merit, which is open to boys and girls aged 6-12 years old on 1st January 2025.
We have a series of different divisions to suit all ability levels meaning you can enter our Rookies Tour with or without an official handicap, but this Tour is mainly aimed at juniors starting on their golfing journey.
Junior golfers have the opportunity to play in a series of professionally ran events, led by a team of passionate individuals, in a fun and friendly environment. Each event uses live scoring technology via the Golf Genius app to track the scores, performance and provides a hole-by-hole account within each division.
Players compete within an Order of Merit to have an opportunity to qualify for our Grand Final on Saturday 13th September 2025 at Thonock Park, Lincolnshire.
We see this as a real family affair, so encourage parents, family and friends to enjoy the Tour and soak up the scenery at some of the most picturesque golf courses across the country.
The Masters Tour is our 18-hole Order of Merit for Junior Golfers aged 21 years old and under who have an official WHS Handicap Index.
Players compete across a season-long Order of Merit including 20 qualifying competitions incorporating a number of major events held at some of the best golf clubs in the Country, to have an opportunity to qualify for our Grand Final on Saturday 13th September 2025 at Thonock Park, Lincolnshire.
Players must have a WHS Handicap Index of 28.4 and below (Boys) and 36.4 and below (Girls) at the point of entry to enter the Master’s events.
We use live scoring technology at every event, have a professionally designed first tee with our sponsors branding and have a series of Gross and Nett prizes to be won at every qualifier.
