The Northern Junior Golf Tour is designed to give young golfers aged 6-14 years old an opportunity to play in a series of 9 hole events across different courses. Players can participate in our events with and without an official handicap as they play within their designated age/ability category. Each player will compete for Order of Merit points which culminates in a Grand Final to crown the County winners.

The selected venues for the inaugural Lancashire Tour are as follows:

1. Sunday 10^th May 2020 – Whalley Golf Club (2pm-5pm)
2. Saturday 23^rd May 2020 – Harwood Golf Club (2pm-5pm)
3. Saturday 13^th June 2020 – Towneley Golf Club (2pm-5pm)
4. Sunday 21^st June 2020 – Lancaster Golf Club (2pm-4.30pm)
5. Saturday 25^th July 2020 – Silverdale Golf Club (2pm-5pm)

We’re also proud to have Helen Searle as our Lancashire Co-ordinator. Helen will be the key point of contact for all of the Lancashire events and we know she’ll do an amazing job with her passion and dedication to Junior Golf.

Helen explains why she’s joined the NJGT team, “Without juniors, what future does golf have? They are the future! That is why when I knew of the great work the Northern Junior Golf Tour was doing, I was so honoured to become part of their team. I started golf at the age of 10, and looking back, my only regret was that I didn’t pick up a club earlier so I could have enjoyed this great game for longer. When you are a junior, any help and encouragement goes such a long way. To play a small part in that support network is incredibly rewarding. The fun and family atmosphere these events create, give children an opportunity to make friends for life and for families to spend quality time together in the fresh air. It’s a no brainer – you have to get involved!”

Entry to the Northern Junior Golf Tour includes 5 rounds of Golf played over 9 holes, entry into the Net and Gross Order of Merit and a Northern Junior Golf Tour/PING branded cap (worth £20) which will be received at your first event.
